"The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for."
— Bob Marley

Long-term Effects:

People begin to notice patterns in their life and memories of small inconsequential details pop into their heads. Examples: Leslie is walking home and notices a bus she passes has a Mascara by Maybelline ad. She settles in front of her television and flips it on right as a Maybelline commercial starts playing. She frowns and opens her newest magazine to a Maybelline ad.  / Steve is walking down the street and he notices a guy with blue glasses watching him. His mind immediately recalls a moment a few days ago where it swears that exact man was in the same restaurant he was in.

Times slows and you get overwhelmed with input: a hundred memories swirl around you from when you were young to your present. They flicker and fade before you can hone in on them.  A sense of nostalgia comes with them and it’s overwhelming – all who feel it fall more prone to giving into their emotions and suffer a -1 to Composure.
A quick flash in the back of the mind that brings a nostalgic memory with it; touching an object (example, a statue of a chicken) will bring with it a memory of when the viewer used something similar (example, Marcie remembers her dad gleefully holding up a rooster-shaped lamp to her mom and saying “cock lamp!” while her mom rolled her eyes.)

Musical Inspiration

Get in Line by Barenaked Ladies
Everywhere I go there's someone in a trench coat staring at me
And when I'm not at home I'm sure someone's rummaging through my trash
What ever could they want from me?
Is it just a part of a giant government conspiracy?
I gotta go see my doctor about this itchy pentagram shaped rash
Everybody open your mouth
Everybody just say ah (ah ah ah ah)

Everything'll be alright, this won't hurt at all (turn it up).

No Rain by Blind Melon
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin' the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
And speak my point of view but it's not sane
It's not sane
I just want someone to say to me, oh
I'll always be there when you wake, yeah
You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and I'll have it made.

Tonight Tonight by The Smashing Pumpkins
Believe, believe in me, believe
That life can change, that you're not stuck in vain
We're not the same, we're different tonight
Tonight, so bright
And you know you're never sure
But you're sure you could be right
If you held yourself up to the light
And the embers never fade in your city by the lake
The place where you were born
Believe, believe in me, believe
In the resolute urgency of now
And if you believe there's not a chance tonight…

Foil by Weird Al Yankovic
Oh, by the way, I've cracked the code
I've figured out these shadow organizations
And the Illuminati know
That they're finally primed for world domination
And soon you've got black helicopters coming 'cross the border
Puppet masters for the New World Order
Be aware: there's always someone that's watching you.
